Policies and Frequently Asked Questions

Arrival

For new clients please fill out the online intake form before arriving for your massage, for whatever reason you cannot fill out the online form, a paper form can be filled out in the office. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out the forms and discuss what you need in the massage before we start the massage.

Now with Covid-19 I would appreciate filling out the online form instead of the paper form. If you didn’t receive the option, please contact me and I can send it to you through email.

 Arriving Late

I try my best to dedicate the most time to bodywork during a session. If you are running late please call or text and I will do my best to try and accommodate to give you your full time, but I cannot make any guarantees and I might have to shorten the time of your appointment.

Cancellation and No Shows

I do not charge for cancellations; I understand that life can happen, and priorities need to change suddenly. I would appreciate 24 hours’ notice but I’ll understand if that isn’t an option. Now this is a business and how I pay my bills so I hold the option to ask a client to prepay for the session and charge %50 of the massage if a client constantly cancels or does not show up.

Now with Covid-19 I totally understand if you need to cancel or reschedule if you feel sick or just do not want to play it safe. In any instance please call or text me and I will cancel and/or reschedule with no charge.

Gift Cards and Prepaid Massages

New Mexico law states that all gifts cards are valid 5 years after purchase. Gift cards cannot be refunded for cash but can be transferred to anyone for equal value. Prepaid massages cannot be refunded for cash but can be exchanged for gift certificates. Please let me know if you’ve allowed another friend or family member to use your online gift certificate or prepays via call or text. I will not let another client use your prepays without your permission.

Informed Consent

Prior to each massage session, the treatment plan will be discussed with you. At your first visit with us you will be asked to sign the treatment consent form stating that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply with the professional massage therapy policies and procedures. Clients who we have not seen for at least a year may also be asked to fill out this form.
